Laura Ravinsky

Laura is an associate at Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, where she represents clients in all aspects of family and matrimonial law.

Prior to joining AMS, Laura served as the assistant court attorney to the Hon. Rachel A. Adams in a dedicated matrimonial part of the Supreme Court, Kings County. Laura began her career at a litigation defense firm in New York City. 

Laura received her B.A. in psychology and M.A. in counseling psychology from McGill University, and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as an articles editor on the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. Her Note on victim-offender mediation was selected for publication in the journal’s seventeenth volume. During law school, Laura likewise participated in the Divorce Mediation Clinic where she mediated contested divorce cases referred to the Supreme Court through the Office of Court Administration.

Laura is admitted to practice in New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Brooklyn Bar Association, and the Brooklyn and New York Women’s Bar Associations.

Laura lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
